¶ Walkthrough
- Your Pip-Boy will tell you to listen to Jake's Private Frequency.
- Listen to Jake's message.
- Meet him at the Charles View Amphitheatre.
- Jake tells you about his lead on a Comm Hub and marks a map location in your Pip-Boy.
- He will follow you to that location.
- Enter Vault Tek Headquarters by using the front door of the building.
- Jake will have some dialogue and head for the reception desk terminal.
- He will remark that you are not alone and some ferals will appear.
- Jake will attempt to access the terminal on the front desk to look for information on the Comm Hub.
- Deal with any more ferals that appear.
- Jake will access the reception desk terminal, discuss with you what he finds and suggest you look for Magnusson's office..
- When you find Magnusson's office on the second floor, Jake will access a terminal in the office. Information found there will lead to investigating the basement. Jake will tell you that you need a key card to access the elevator to the basement.
- Search the second floor for a named ghoul. The key card is lootable from a named ghoul's corpse.
- Take the elevator down and search the basement for clues.
- Deal with the ferals.
- A desk with a terminal at the back of the room will have a holotape on it called "HQ Memo".
- Play the holotape. It will tell you that the equipment has been moved to the sub-basement.
- Find your way down to the sub-basement.
To the sub-basement
Across the room from where you found the HQ Memo holotape, there is a a red button on the wall. Push the button. Look down, then activate the Loose Mats.- Once you are in the sub-basement, Jake will walk down the stairs and into the middle of the room. Speak to Jake. He'll ask you to look around, see what you can find.
- Search the sub-basement for information about Comm Hubs and ASAMS. Jake will have a conversation with you after each find.
Things to find
There are 4 things to find:1. ASAM Printer that Jake stands by - push the button
2. Holotape in an open safe in the locked room - Activate it (cannot be picked up), Jake will come into the room
3. The Vault Tek Comm Hub in the next room - Activate it for Jake to investigate it
4. Technical Documents on a desk near the Vault Tek Comm Hub - pick them up and give them to Jake during your next conversation with him.
- When you have found everything, Jake will ask you to attend a meeting that he doesn't have time to attend.

¶ Notes
- Using the back door of Vault Tek Headquarters will not start the quest. You must enter through the front door.
- Tip: Companion(s) can sometimes get in Jake's way. If you find they are preventing Jake from getting somewhere during your search of the sub-basement, tell them to stay until you have found everything or dismiss them.
- Reception Desk: There is a note "Search and Seizure Warrant"
- Magnusson's Office: On Magnusson's Desk, there is a photograph of Magnusson and Mr. House created by Cynical_Bounce

Reported Issues:
- (Sep 05/21) Quest Tagging (For example, using FallUI Item Sorter and changing the name of the quest) breaks this quest. A new game would be required if you have this issue.
- Magnusson's Terminal does not display correctly if accessed.
