¶ Walkthrough
- Go and talk to the Stranger in Concord Hardware.
- During your conversation with the Stranger, Old Paul will burst in and demand your presence in a hostage situation.
- Follow Old Paul to where the settlers are held.
- Enter a dialogue with the Raider gunman who points a gun at you.
a. You may wish to bribe him with 100 caps to release the hostages.
b. If you have the Action Boy/Girl perk, you may wish to interrupt the dialogue to start combat.
c. There may be other ways to resolve the conflict. - If necessary, survive a fight.
- After any enemies have been dealt with, the hostages will return to the settlement.
- Check in with the Stranger.

¶ Notes
- On the way, you may encounter blood bugs or find the raiders engaged fighting them. Wait until the gunfire ends before you approach the raider to talk to him.
- The settler who is the captive beside leader of the raiders is not one of your settlers, currently remains at the site when the others make their way back home, as do the raiders if the situation is resolved without a fight.
