¶ Walkthrough
- Meet Jake at Vault 111.
- Speak to Jake.
- Call Magnusson on the HQ Radio. Learn more about why you are at Vault 111.
- Enter Vault 111.
- Head for the Cryo Chambers.
- The first door is inaccessible. Magnusson suggests bypassing the door using fire control and Jake will access that and get the door open.
- Go to the Overseer's Office.
- Figure out how to open the Overseer's Door.
- Activating the door will suggest you find a way to open it. Jake will suggest following the pipes.
- Find and Loosen the Valve.
- Jake will inform you that the door has opened. Return to him and proceed.
- Find Magnusson's Empty Cryo Pod.
- Instructions are given to open the pod to access the hidden lower area in the vault.
- Enter the Vault 111 Sublevel.
- On the way, you will encounter another inaccessible door.
- To open the sealed door, you will need to access the Fusion Core Receptacle beside the door and replace the Fusion Core.
- Once inside, find the Holotape.
- Figure out how to raise the elevator.
- Find the security gate and lockpick the door (Expert Lockpicking).
- Find the Emergency Operations panel.
- Open it and active it to raise the elevator.
- Wait until the elevator rises. Jake will grab the holotape and comment about items in cache.
- (Optional) Check out the elevator cache.
- Meet Jake on the surface.
- Jake will attempt to call Magnusson.
- When there is no response, Jake says he will see you again at HQ.

- Begins immediately after Aide Memoire
- Jake tends to walk very slowly through Vault 111. To hear the dialogue, follow him as he makes his way through the vault. When he stops, you'll usually have a new quest objective.
