¶ Walkthrough
- Listen to Jake's Frequency.
- Check in on Jake.
- Jake tells you about the Comm Hub and about the possibility of establishing communications between settlements.
- He asks you to go to several locations, place an ASAM Sensor Scanner to scan the area. Once the scan is completed, the Prototype Locator Beacon will drop automatically. M.A.L.A. will pick up the supplies.
- At each location, you will need to clear out enemies so that M.A.L.A. can gather the materials safely.
- Each time, you will need to return to Jake for another Prototype Locator Beacon.
- You will be required to go to 3 of the locations.
- After placing the last one, when you go to report to Jake, you will find Aiden in Concord Hardware.
- Jake is missing. Aiden will tell you he will do some checking around.
Next Quest: Picking Up the Pieces is the last quest of Chapter 1.

- About Jake Evans and Aiden
- The ASAM Sensor Scanner can be found in your Misc Inventory. Highlight it and Drop it to place. When it is finished scanning, the Prototype Locator Beacon will drop automatically and the ASAM Sensor Scanner will return to your inventory.
- There are 6 locations to scan. (You can choose which to scan.)
