UNDER CONSTRUCTION
- The Miitary Department consists of the Military Department Head and Officers.
- Department Energy generates based on the Soldier Rank of its staff (2 points per rank). Soldier Ranks can only be increased through Military Training plots and experience gained during Assaults.
- Officers are recruited in the usual way, by using the Recruitment Clipboard and asking them to come work at HQ. (Rank 3 or higher Soldiers)
- Military jobs can be increased by bulding an Armory in Headquarters, Hangar Area, or by upgrading existing Military rooms. See Headquarters Floor Plans.
- Supply Logistics: Military projects will require Supply Logistics resources (Ammo, Armor, Chems, Weapons). These Supplies are stored in your Armory.
To increase HQ's available capacity for Supplies, upgrade your Armory. For more information about Supplies, see Resources: Scrap and Supplies.
- Obtaining Supplies (Ammo, Armor, Chems, Weapons): To make Supplies available at HQ, set up Supply Agreements in HQ with your Outposts. Be sure to have the correct storage containers, Lockers in your Outposts.
Supplies can also come into your Outposts/Settlements through capturing Territories that provide some daily supplies.
You can also purchase Priority Shipments through Provision at a Level 2 Caravan Services or make Trade Agreements for Supplies using Provision on a Level 3 Caravan Services. For more information, see Marketplace.
You will also be able to make purchases or trade agreements with some Traders you may meet.
Two Manage Build Icons will appear when selecting Manage.
- Reassign Staff: Use this to assign or unassign staff to/from the Military Department
- View Task List:
Cancel to exit menu
Select Assigned by You to see Tasks that you've assigned to the Department,
Select Planned by Department to see Tasks that your Department has queued.
Once you have made your selection, wait for the Task List to generate.
- Research Coercion Tactics: Unlock Attempt to Conscrtipt Prisoner Option, which can covert Captives to Soldiers.

- Research Interrogation Tactics: Unlock Interrogate for Intel Prisoner Option, which can reveal enemy territories.
Completion Time: 2 Days
- Research Pacifism Protocols: Enemy Robots can sometimes be captured and held captive by Prison plots.
Completion Time: 3 Days
- Souting Runs: Generates a scout report revealing a new map marker and details if a location is occupied.
Completion Time: 1 Day
- Plan Assault: Open menu for planning an Assault from one of your Outposts
- Research: Open menu for researching military advancements like Vassalization or special Loadouts.
New advancements are unlocked as you select policiies (or Ideologies) for your Headquarters at the Ideology Terminal in the meeting room.
- Pillaging: Unlock the ability to attack locations for resources instead of capture.
Completion Time: 1 Day
Projects for the Military Department will only appear in Command Mode menu when projects are unlocked.
