Patty’s life until recent events has been pretty run of the mill. The usual hard slog, which at some point included an injury which left a nasty scar across her face. She fell into working with the Gunners and settled into a fairly boring role making sure the troops got fed.
When a simple young man named Pete was sent to work with her it changed her life. He didn’t make fun of her ruined looks, in fact he behaved so much better than the other men there, and she found herself falling in love with him. When he was moved to another unit, she was upset. When she found out how badly they were treating him, she was livid. Under the cover of the worsening relationship between the Hellhounds and Gunner command, she arranged for them to run away together.
