¶ Walkthrough
If you chose to send Theresa to talk to The Ron, instead of going yourself with her:
- Wait for her to contact you on HQ Radio.
- Theresa will contact you and give you Salvador's location, (Cutler's Bend). abd ask you to meet them there.
- Skip to Step 5.
If you chose to travel with Theresa to talk to The Ron:
- Travel to Diamond City with Theresa, to speak to The Ron.
- Ask The Ron for information about Salvador.
- a. if you have high Charisma, you can learn more about Theresa's request for information.
b. Ask about what's been going on in the Commonwealth.
c. Ask for Salvador's location. - Find Salvador.
- Travel to the quest flag (near Cutler's Bend).
- As you approach the camp, a Freedom Fighter will stop you.
- Theresa will speak to him.
- Theresa runs forward to speak to Salvador. Follow her.
- Through dialogue options, Theresa and you attempt to convince Salvador to join.
- Salvador asks you to prove yourself, by joining him in a confrontation with the gunners.
- Follow Salvador.
- When you reach the point on a bridge, speak to Salvador.
- He will give you Binoculars, and ask you to scout the location.
- Equip the Binoculars and use them to mark an enemy, flag or door at Coastal Pier.
- Speak to Salvador again.
- A gunner boat appears and docks at Coastal Pier, observe.
- Salvador asks you to mark the gunners with the Binoculars.
- Using the Binoculars, spot and mark 3 gunners.
Tip: You may have to get closer. Return to Salvador when you have marked the gunners.
- Salvador then gives you a Flare Gun.
- Aim the Flare Gun to shoot a flare up into the air above Coastal Pier.
- With Salvador, meet up with his crew.
- Salvador will discuss the next step to attack.
- Wipe out the gunners.
- Speak to Salvador.
- Follow him to the dock and listen to his dialogue with Theresa.
- Theresa will take Salvador to HQ, and asks you to attend a meeting.
- Return to HQ.

- Issue: Mar 14, 2026 - If you chose to send Theresa on her own to speak to The Ron, Theresa does not appear at Salvador's camp and he does not respond if you talk to him.
