- Use a clean save file or start a new game

What is a Clean Save File?
A save file that doesn't have remnants of other mods baked into the save, usually a save made before exiting the vault for the first time
Why?
To prove that SS2 and related SS2 mods are causing the issue
Providing a save file where an issue is reproduced with no other mods loaded almost guarantees that the developers will be able to find the issue and resolve it.
Removing/disabling other mods once you have a problem does not confirm the problem is with SS2
You can also safely use these mods while testing:
- Use a clean save file or start a new game
- Use the Mod List (Load Order) listed above
- Install the Mod that is believed to be incompatible, along with any mods that it requires
- Test to reproduce the issue
Please read and follow the mod author's instructions and requirements.
- Post your test results on the forums Questions and Help
- Enter a brief Topic Title for your post (Like Quest Name: Issue or Mod Incompatibility: Mod Name - Issue)
- In your post, describe the issue
- Also, provide the following:
- The Release Versions you used while testing
- Provide a plugins.txt file or list your mod load order (if listing, please hide using the spoiler tags in your post)
- Describe how you reproduced the issue (the steps needed to cause the issue)
- Provide screenshots, or a video to illustrate the issue
- If you are researching CTD or other crash issues, include a crash log .txt file
- Have a Save File from the point of or just before the issue occurs
- Provide a link to your Save File (Google Drive or Drop Box) where it is accessible for download
