Requirements:
- Alliance with LaMont's Gunners, or
- Finding all of the Engramtapes.
¶ Walkthrough
- Magnusson calls you on HQ Radio.
- Speak to Magnusson via Memory Lounger or Hologram (Meeting Room).
- Start the Research Data Filtration Algorithm project.
Command Mode: SCIENCE > TECHNOLOGICAL RESEARCH > RESEARCH DATA FILTRATION ALGORITHM - Wait for the Research Data Filtration Algorithm project to complete.
- Start the Engram Decryption Atomic Rain Program project.
Command Mode: SCIENCE > TECHNOLOGICAL RESEARCH > ENGRAM DECRYPTION: ATOMIC RAIN PROGRAM - Wait for the Engram Decryption Atomic Rain Program project to complete.
Unlocks Atomic Rain Strikes:
Using your Binoculars, mark a target, then call HQ Radio to Request Support. - Check in with Magnusson. He will tell you that he has had a targeting gun built for you and that you can find it in your apartment.
- Quest completes.

- Begins 24 hours after finding all of the Engramtapes, or after Epilogue: Power Projection is completed.

To complete Magnusson's projects:1. Start the Research the Engramtape Decryption: Archimedes Program project
Command Mode: SCIENCE > TECHNOLOGICAL RESEARCH > ENGRAMTAPE DECRYPTION: ARCHIMEDES PROGRAM
2. Wait for the project to complete.
Unlocks:
- ASAM MarkII Sensors, which you can craft at a City Planner's Desk
- Marvel bulding plan: [SS2C3] Marvel - Helios Tower. To build, craft an ASAM Mark II Sensor, then upgrade a Martial plot to the ASAM MarkII Sensor first and then select the buliding plan.
- Solar Reflectors in Workshop Mode.
