Quest Character: Scribe Monty Phylon

¶ Walkthrough
- Give Monty time to settle in.
- Check in with Monty.
- Monty will talk about brewing beer, then ask you to brew Atomic Blonde Ale.
- Use the Brewery to make Atomic Blonde Ale.
- In the Brewery, you will find a recipe if you don't have it already in your inventory from talking to Monty.
- Also in the Brewery, there are Brewer's Guide Pages.
- To brew the Atomic Blonde Ale, you will need to have or find the ingredients listed on the recipe.
Atomic Blonde Ale Ingredients List
Razorgrain Mash, Dandy Boy Apples, Mutfruit, Med X- To make the Razorgrain Mash, use the Cooking Pot in the Brewery.

6 Purified Water, 6 Razorgrain- Once you have prepared the Mash, climb the ladder to activate the boiler.
- Add the ingredients as instructed.
Adding Ingredients to the Boiler
Add Mash. Add something for bitterness. Add something for flavor. Add something for aroma. Add a little something to top it off.- The wort will be ready in 24 in-game hours. Once that is completed, the wort is removed from the Boiler, and moved to a fermenter. When it is ready, the beer is moved into the Beer Crate.
- Collect the brew from the Beer Crate in the Brewery, or if not there, check in Workshop inventory.
- Bring a Bottle of Atomic Blonde Ale to Monty.
- Ask Monty about beer recipes if you like.
- Monty will give you a new recipe to brew.
- When you have brewed all of Monty's beers, you officially become a Brewmaster.
- There will be a dialogue with Monty. You will need to pass the speech check to convince Monty to remain with your settlement. If you fail, he will leave.
¶ Notes
- Time to brew the beer takes longer than 24 hours (wort takes 24 hrs + an unknown fermentation time).
- There are number of recipes that Monty will give you.
- You will need to experiment to find the required ingredients.
- Not all of the recipes provide you with a complete list of ingredients.
- Possible ingredients are the items (food, water, chems, etc.) you can find in your Inventory in the Aid category.
- Scribe Monty Phylon is a Unique Settler.
